Como funciona un Sistema de Alarmas y porqué debemos monitorearlo

A home alarm system is a set of electronic security devices designed to be activated in the event of unauthorized entry into a property, whether a home or a business.

Depending on the capabilities installed in the system, the alarm system can sound the siren and report the intrusion to the security company, the homeowner, and the police. Even the most comprehensive systems are capable of capturing and transmitting images, audio, and video in real time.

The home alarm system consists of several basic components. One of them is the sensors, which are the devices that must detect intrusion. Motion detectors must be placed in crossing areas, where intruders must pass, and on doors and windows, which are vulnerable points.

The number and type of sensors that need to be installed for the alarm system to work effectively depends on the security companys assessment after inspecting the property.

Another important component of a home alarm system is the communication line. This allows any intrusion to be reported to the security company, who can then take immediate action to protect the property.

Alarm systems were typically connected to a security companys headquarters via a landline, but other communication technologies, such as cellular networks, can now be used.

The user interface is a component of the system that allows homeowners to connect to and operate their own alarm system – to control, disarm, and monitor activity or notify the security company in the event of an emergency. The most comprehensive security system available today allows users to control and monitor the alarm via a mobile device.

Another important component of the alarm system is the control panel. This is the constant monitoring activity of the security company, which is responsible for receiving the alarms generated by the system and taking the corresponding actions quickly and effectively.

This element is not present in the es attribute and the user will probably never see it, but it is necessary. Without a good control panel, no alarm system, however complete, can be considered safe.
